How your Order is Shipped
Most merchandise is shipped from one of our stores or our warehouse to arrive within 5-7 days of receipt of your order. If there is a delay, we will notify you by phone or email. Some orders with multiple items may be shipped in multiple packages. If you require a faster delivery, expidited shipping options are available to you and can be chosen during checkout.
We ship all of our orders Monday through Friday via USPS or FedEx. Expedited delivery is available in certain circumstances, for an additional cost. Expedited orders must be received by 2pm CST for us to be able to ship out same day. Orders received after this time may not be eligible for expedited delivery.

Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii
Orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii require additional shipping charges. Shipping methods are limited when shipping to an address located within Alaska or Hawaii.
Shipping to PO Boxes or APO
At this time we do not offer shipping to PO Boxes or APO addresses.
Shipping outside of the US
At this time we do not ship internationally.
No Delivery on National Holidays
If a National Holiday is between your order date and the anticipated arrival date of your package, please expect your package a day later. Packages are not shipped or delivered on the following holidays:

Returns and Exchanges
30 Days for Returns
We are happy to process your return with your receipt within 30 days of your purchase with a receipt. Items must be in pristine, unused and sellable condition with original tags and packaging.
For common sense reasons, we cannot accept any returns on underwear, bathing suits, protection and fall/arrest related climbing equipment. This includes but is not limited to: carabiners, cams, nuts, all bolt protection, runners or any type of webbing, helmets, harnesses, ropes and any cut cordage of any kind.
To make a return or exchange by mail:

You can expedite an exchange by placing a new order with your credit card and returning the unwanted merchandise for credit.
Returning online purchases to a retail store:
Returns made to a retail store for merchandise purchased online will be processed and refunded by the Corporate Office. You will not be charged freight from our store to our returns location, however you will not receive your refund during the visit to our store. Backwoods Corporate will promptly issue your refund to the original form of payment once the returned merchandise is received and processed by our return facility. Please bring a copy of your receipt to the store for proper processing.
To make an exchange in store:
Please bring a copy of your receipt. If you no longer have the receipt that was sent to you via email, please email [email protected] and we will research and email a copy of your receipt. A receipt must be presented with all in-store exchanges.
