Training Tips: Don't Forget the Downhill!

We all love getting to the top of a peak. Such a feeling of accomplishment and elation. Unfortunately, there is no escalator taking us back down. While descending is easier on the lungs, its much harder on the muscles and joints. As you train for your trip, prepare for the descent by strengthening and stretching joints in your lower body and by preparing your upper body to “shoulder” some load.
