The main house has 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen, expansive patio, and plenty of room to relax. The guesthouse next to the cabin has 2 more bedrooms and a small living room. Accommodations are quoted in double occupancy. Single accommodations may be available upon request for an additional fee. Please inquire upon registration.

Meals

Meals are included from dinner on day 1 through breakfast on day 5.

The first two mornings, we head into town for breakfast at a local diner. Sandwich ingredients are set out in the kitchen around 11:30, and you’re welcome to swing by and grab lunch whenever the urge strikes. Fruit, granola bars and snacks are available anytime. Dinners are hot, hearty, and comforting after a day of fishing in the chilly fall weather. While the menu changes often, some of our favorite recipes include grilled steaks with potatoes and salads, homemade lasagna, grilled chicken, and more. If its a particularly cold day, we might just whip up a batch of chili! The last morning, the guides will serve up a tasty breakfast of eggs, bacon, and more.

Participant Reviews

Since I am a novice and not familar with this type of fly fishing, I needed a lot of help. I was with Tom the first two days and his patience was just short of "saintly". Eric was also an outstanding guide and teacher. The food was outstanding. Eric is a great “grill master" and he and Tom make a hearty breakfast.

I would travel again with either Tom or Eric. Both are outstanding men in every way. They are great teachers and educators. Seeing and learning about the life cycles of the insect on the river bottoms was an experience I did not expect.

The river environment was outstanding, with clean, clear water and beautiful rock structures. We arrived just as the the trees were reaching the fall colors. Wildlife was abundant with Mule Deer everywhere. I could not have been more pleased with every part of the trip. I did not want to leave. "One Last Cast"

Tom Adams

Tom Adams was born raised in Oklahoma City and has Backwoods since 1987, spending most of that time at his current position as General Manager of Backwoods Oklahoma City. Tom's expertise is in certainly fly fishing - that's where his passion is. But he's still a fan of hiking and backpacking. "Getting outdoors builds confidence, away from the trailhead, sleeping in the dirt. The further you get from where the cars are parked, the more cool things you'll see."
